Spanish Rice

Spanish rice is one of the most famous side dishes for any Spanish/Mexican meal. Spanish rice is easy and the family will enjoy the new flavors this rice has to offer. So here is my favorite Spanish rice recipe that my Nana taught me to make.

Nana's Spanish Rice

ingredients:

  1. Long grain rice or Jasmine rice 2 cups
  2. Whole tomatoes  6 ounces
  3. One Bell peppers either yellow or green
  4. Dash ground cumin
  5. Salt and pepper to taste

How to Prepare Spanish Rice:

Follow the direction on back of rice container. This way you will have the water to rice ratio correct. Cook rice with tomatoes, bell pepper, and a dash of cumin. Stir occasionally. Sever hot.
